Mohammad Farid Azampour
Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair for Computer Aided Medical Procedures (CAMP) at the Technical University of Munich, working with Prof. Nassir Navab. My research spans physics-based ultrasound simulation, generative modeling, differentiable rendering, and robot-guided ultrasound navigation aimed at reliable autonomous acquisition.
Before joining CAMP I completed my Ph.D. in bioelectric engineering at Sharif University of Technology, where I focused on multimodal medical image registration and cross-modal perception. I am broadly interested in bringing together robotics, simulation, and machine learning to create interpretable, data-efficient ultrasound guidance systems that translate to clinics.
